Small changes in classrooms can go a long way in creating spaces that are safe, inclusive and free from any kind of bullying.
Have you ever felt left out, pushed away, or intentionally isolated?
Do you wonder what made you feel that way?
Was it those around you, or was it something about you?
Well, this is just a small part of how kids who experience bullying feel, just a fraction of their thoughts. When I worked with students who had just completed their middle schooling, there were many smaller groups of friends within our class. Not everyone knew or had interacted with each other closely. Here are few ways we worked together as a team to ensure an inclusive and bullying-free classroom.
