Our associates are individuals, organisations and schools whose main purpose is education for wellbeing – to build healthy relationships, resilience and social and emotional development. Teacher wellbeing is part of this. We have not had the capacity to approach everyone we know, so we welcome applications from all who wish to join us in this endeavour. Someone coined the phrase ‘wellbeing warriors’. This is what we are! You do not have to be as big as the Carnegie Centre for Excellence in Mental Health in Schools in the UK or Positive Schools in Australia but you do have to be willing to walk the talk. Hopefully for people in this field this should not be a big ask!
At the moment, much of the website contains stuff I (Sue Roffey) have done and written. Although happy to take a lead, we are seeking to establish a resource hub that promotes the work of all our associates and gives information about good practice internationally. Please send us information to upload, including links to relevant publications.
If you don’t want to be an associate but would like to receive the occasional newsletter just sign up by filling in the form at the bottom of the page, or the ‘Join us‘ link at the top – no need to do that if you were already on Sue Roffey’s mailing list. And please pass this on to whoever might be interested.
You can find out more about our associates by clicking on the links below – the country links have some basic information about each of the associates and affiliated organisations in that country, while the individual links go to their website.
